After several times out of the gate over the past few decades, the urban hippie trend finally makes some sociological sense. To help quell the post "incident" trauma in the most subtle manner, nothing screams "make love not war" like flouncy sleeves and suede fringe can. Saturating the junior retail market (while curiously appealing to those too young to know what it all means), as long as mom remembers - sales should continue to soar. Throw a vintage 80s top into the mix and you're all set. Momo Falana hit the nail on its urban hippie head with this message through her spring 2003 collection, sending her signature hand-dyed spring fabrics down the runway with a whole lotta love.
